Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 24, 2026

In short: PrepareItUp is free. We keep only what is needed to run your account and save your progress. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use tracking or analytics tools. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Who we are

PrepareItUp (prepareitup.com) is a free learning site with courses, practice questions and mock tests. Questions about this policy: prepareitup@gmail.com.

If you use the site without an account

We do not keep anything about you on our servers. Your progress in the open parts of the site is saved only in your own browser. When you check an answer, we receive the question and the option you picked, and nothing is recorded.

What we store when you have an account

Account details: your email address and name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and, if the provider shares it, a link to your profile picture. We never see your password for Google.
Profile details you choose to add: a username and a phone number, both optional.
Your learning: course, quiz and exam progress; the results of quizzes you finish; the answers you submit for checking; how much time you spend on the site and when you last visited.
A daily count of lessons and question sets opened, used only to stop automated copying of the course content.

How we use it

Only to run PrepareItUp: to sign you in, save and sync your progress across devices, show your results, send sign-in and password-reset emails, and keep the site safe from abuse. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who helps us run the site

We use trusted service providers to host the website, store the database and handle sign-in, and send sign-in emails. If you sign in with Google, Google confirms who you are. Code libraries and fonts are loaded from public content networks, which see your IP address when those files load. These providers process data only to run PrepareItUp, not for their own purposes.

Like any website, these services may keep short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Cookies and browser storage

We use no advertising or tracking cookies. The site uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to remember your progress and settings. Signing out removes everything your account left on that device.

Who can see your data

Your progress and answers are private to your account: the database only lets each signed-in learner read their own records. We may look at data to fix problems or prevent abuse. We will share it with authorities only if the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account exists. To delete your account and everything linked to it, email prepareitup@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. We will delete it within 30 days and confirm by email. You can also ask for a copy of your data the same way.

Children

PrepareItUp is meant for learners aged 13 and older. If you are under 13, please do not create an account. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we will also tell signed-in learners on the site.
